CALISTHENICS with LUCA
​
Join us for an intense week of Calisthenics led by Vegan Coach &
Certified Personal Trainer, Luca Marshall Fent.
Spend your days in our jungle oasis learning different muscle-building techniques using just your body weight.
Some of Luca's instruction will focus on teaching the proper and safe techniques to achieving and holding a well-balanced hand-stand.
Once achieved properly, this position has a list of health benefits for the body & mind. Some include: building upper body strength, relieving stress, increasing blood flow to the scalp and eyes, strengthening core muscles, improving digestion and flushing out adrenal glands.
ZUMBA with ALEX

When you're done standing upside down and have digested some high energy plant foods, you'll be all set to enjoy some fun and intense
cardio w/ a rhythmic Latin vibe, as
Alexandra Bettencourt, Certified Zumba Instructor, leads a daily salsa-inspired fitness class, better known as ZUMBA, all week!
Zumba is a growing sensation around the globe. It's a mixture of dance and aerobics choreographed to beats of energetic music, like hip hop, soca, samba, salsa, merengue and mambo.
We couldn't be more thrilled to have one of Zumba's most wonderfully passionate and enthusiastic instructors leading our group in a
daily hour of this fun and intense class!
YOGA with ASHANTI

Enjoy daily Airbender Yoga classes with
the fabulous and flexible, Ashanti Airbender Garcia, certified yoga teacher & Founder of Airbender Yoga Studio in Belize City.
​
Airbender Yoga is a physically, mentally and spiritually intense form of yoga that utilizes the first two limbs of yoga (10 principles) in yoga practice to deepen your experience and in life to help you cope with life challenges and life more fully.
The physical influences and elements of the practice includes techniques from hatha, vinyasa/flow, yin, power, chair, fitness training, pilates and dance, making it a truly unique style of yoga.
It is also a diverse system, with not only one type of sequence. There are four series, each meant to work your body in a completely different way. The Restorative Series is geared towards improving passive flexibility and is the most relaxing form of yoga offered with the utilization of various props (blankets, eye pillows, meditation cushions, etc) to support the body in all postures. Gentle Series is geared towards improving flexibility and relaxing the mind. The Vigorous Series is geared towards improving strength and stamina. It is excellent for fat loss, increasing muscle mass, bone density and energy. The Funky Series is geared towards improving flexibility, strength, balancing skills, stamina and coordination, and it is considered the hardest series.

*There is a minimum requirement for attendance of this retreat in order to conduct it. We are also aware it is being offered on rather short notice, however if we haven't reached our minimum required number of attendees signed up by June 15th, those that have signed up will have the option of being refunded in full, as the calisthenics portion will be postponed until the stars align with Luca's next trip out to this side of the globe!
However those that choose to still attend can enjoy more Zumba classes and Yoga, with an adjustment in pricing that will reflect the deduction of the calisthenic classes.

*Optional journaling. Journals will be supplied. We always recommend starting each morning upon waking with a gratitude list and ending each day before sleeping, with the same. The lists can be as short or as long as you make them. Either way the more you add to your list, the more you will have to add to it.
